In the article titled “Sleep disorder among shift work nurses and its impact on their quality of life at Al Ahrar Governmental Hospital, Zagazig City, Egypt”, published on pages 117-124, Issue 2, Volume 41 in Egyptian Journal of Psychiatry[1], paragraph has wrongly mentioned as below on page 118, 7th line, under paragraph Study sample.

“By assuming that the percentage of SWSD among shift working nurses (32.1%) and among non-shift working nurses (13.5%) (Zhou et al., 2017) at a confidence interval of 95%, with a study power is used when we calculate the sample size when we use open epi or epi info (they are statistics programs).”

The correct statement should be read as

“By assuming that the percentage of sleep disorder among shift work nurses (32.1%) and among non-shift work nurses (13.5%) (Zhou et al., 2017) at a confidence interval of 95%, with a study power of 80% and using Epi Info version 6 statistical packages the sample size was 180 (90 shift working nurses and 90 non-shift working nurses) and the participant nurses were selected randomly.”
